“Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils” is a serial in the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It was first broadcast in six weekly parts from 25 March to 29 April 1972. The serial is set in the 19th century and features the Doctor, Jo Grant, and the Master battling a group of Sea Devils, an amphibious race of aliens who are planning to conquer the Earth.
The serial was written by Malcolm Hulke and directed by Michael E. Briant. It was the first Doctor Who serial to be filmed in colour. “Legend of the Sea Devils” is generally considered to be one of the best serials of the Jon Pertwee era.
