Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an animated series set in the universe of the Cyberpunk 2077 video game. The series follows the story of David Martinez, a young man who joins a gang of cybernetically enhanced criminals known as “edgerunners” in an attempt to survive in the dystopian city of Night City.
The first episode of the series, titled “The Edge,” introduces David and the other members of his crew. The episode establishes the setting of the series and introduces the main characters. It also sets up the conflict that will drive the rest of the season.
