Wetter Wrth am Main is a municipality in the district of Miltenberg in Bavaria in Germany. The municipality is situated on the river Main, hence the “am Main” in its name. As of 2020, its population was 4,237.
Wetter Wrth am Main was first mentioned in 773 as “Weride” in the Lorsch codex. The town was granted market rights in 1303 by King Albert I of Germany. In 1500, Wetter Wrth am Main became part of the Electorate of Mainz. After the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss of 1803, Wetter Wrth am Main became part of the Grand Duchy of Hesse.
